Safeguarding 1 Child Protection- Tues 4th April, 2023 6.30-9.30pm via Zoom

Safeguarding 1 – Basic Awareness Workshop in Child Welfare & Protection – essential training for all those involved in Sport for Young People or Vulnerable Adults. This course is fully certified for 3 years by Sport Ireland. YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE TO COMPLETE THE COURSE.

All Coaches, Club Children’s Officers and Designated Liaison Persons must first complete the 3 hour Safeguarding 1 Child Welfare & Protection Basic Awareness Course to undertake SG 2 and SG 3. This course educates participants on the implementation of best practice in protecting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults involved in sport.
